Our mission is to make your flower bouquet climate positive. The FlowerMe Initiative+ supports outstanding regenerative projects. Our calculation is based on compensating CO₂ emissions of 35 kg for a flower bouquet. Flowers of course differ in emissions, but our goal is not the greenwashing of a single product, but rather rethink a whole industry in a new innovative way.

Your compensation will be traceable through NFTs on the Blockchain. Web3/ Blockchain technology offers the possibility to make offsets completely traceable and we will use this in the future to show you as a consumer that the promised square meters of offsets were really carried out. We promise you: No greenwashing and 100% transparency. Through the FlowerMe Initiative, you can support outstanding regenerative projects.

Our climate partner Fund the Planet offers rainforest tokens that can be used to offset the CO₂ emissions of a bouquet of flowers. These tokens protect an area of Peruvian rainforest that can offset the CO₂ emissions caused by production, storage & transport within two years of purchase. The piece of rainforest offered is 3m² of ground area and can store 12.5 kg of CO₂ per year per square meter, as well as absorb 192 g of CO₂ per square meter. Since an average bouquet generates about 35 kg. CO₂, participating in the FlowerMe initiative leads to support regenerative environmental projects throughout the globe.

Here you can view the current compensation at any time and watch the nature vault of FlowerMe grow. You will be directed to the already protected square meters. The protection of the rainforest lasts for 2 years.
