The term “blocks” refers to individual records that are stored one after the other, resulting in a kind of record chain.
The blockchain is essentially a large database that starts with an originating block and then chronologically adds new blocks of data after they have been reviewed and confirmed. This creates a record of records, such as financial transactions.
The abbreviation “NFT” refers to “Non-Fungible Token.” A token, also known as a token, is the digitized version of a thing of value. Therefore, the token has a certain value or function. At the same time, however, real assets such as land (e.g., rainforest) or music rights can also be tokenized by transferring the associated rights and obligations to the token. This means that ownership is digitally represented and optionally tradable.
We currently do not offer any credits/certificates…
…and do not engage in certificate-trade with multinational traders. FlowerMe also distances itself from trading with non-transparent or dubious CO2 certificates and credits in order to specifically avoid greenwashing. Should we offer certificates in the future, this will only take place under strict conditions and the legal examination of the certificate partner in order to prevent greenwashing of any kind.
